2009 Minnetonka Fall League Week 2 Schedule

Here's this week's schedule at Minnetonka, noteworthy games are bolded. The Breakdown league at Kennedy is off on Saturday due to round 2 of the state football playoffs (or because I want to go trick or treating)

Sunday's Minnetonka action looks like this

11:30 AM-- Tonka vs Wayzata, Winona vs Waconia, Mounds View vs Osseo, AHA vs Hopkins, Maple Grove vs St. Louis Park

Nice matchup of bigs with Alec Brown and Shelby Moats going at it in the Winona/Waconia game. Moats has impressed all fall and Brown was outstanding last week. If you read my MN Preps column last week, you'll know the details.

1 PM -- Columbia Heights vs Park Center, Sibley vs Orono, Kennedy vs Tartan, Duluth E vs Armstrong, Henry vs BSM

2:30 PM --Waconia vs Tonka, Wayzata vs Osseo, Winona vs Hopkins, Mounds View vs St. Louis Park, AHA vs Park Center

4 PM --Maple Grove vs Orono, Columbia Heights vs Tartan, Sibley vs Armstrong, Kennedy vs BSM, Duluth E vs Henry

Great guard play in the Columbia Heights vs Tartan game. Ditto that for the Duluth East vs Henry game.

  1. Morning Czar, Week 2 of the Tonka Fall League has come and gone....any thoughts? Is it possible you could do a post on here instead of just MNPreps? I was there for Henry/BSM and what a beatdown! I'm sure many were surprised by that one, and I have to admit I'm one of them...I figured Henry would win, but by nearly 40 points!!!

They seemed so pumped and out to prove a point, your thoughts?

  2. Hoop, thanks for the info. If you follow my Twitter page, you'll know I took the weekend off for the amazing Iowa/Indiana game on Saturday. So I didn't see any of Sunday's games over at Tonka.

While I'd love to put my stuff here, part of my deal with MN Preps is to do fall coverage for them so I'm obligated to write my stuff there which means I can't put it elsewhere. Its a fair arrangement considering I get to keep all the regular season and AAU stuff here.
