The times they are a changing in the Minneapolis City conference. Henry and North have new coaches and young teams. The last time North or Henry didn't play in the Twin Cities game was 1994. Is this the year that another team finally wins the league title? Washburn will definitely have a say in this. With former Washburn assistant Bo Powell taking the North job, what will change there?
Team Previews:
Henry loses star Al Nolen, Jr but returns star Jerry Sweezy and a couple of very talented sophomore guards in Jordan Hughes and Louis Cox. They may be young, but you don't pick against the champ until beaten.
North loses coach Brett McNeal and you never know their roster. But with tradition and talent, they can't be counted out.
South had a ton of athletic juniors last year. If coach Joe Hiser can unite his team, they have enough talent to be a real spoiler.
Roosevelt will be competitive thanks to coach Dennis Stockmo despite his (dis)honor of being the worst dressed coach around.
Edison and SW are doormats looking for hope out on the horizon.
