2 kids from Suburban East with neither being Kelly or Van Eps? L. Brown is an obvious pick, but Stanley? Van Eps posting big numbers since coming back from foot injury, and give him another 4-5 healthy games, he probably catches Brown for conf leading scorer. Kelly keeping CDH right on Roseville's heels for conf champs. Disappointing to not see those guys on a roster...
ReplyDeleteAlso... give the Nolen kid from Edison a shot. Had some games in a brutal Mpls City conference where he was goin 1 on 2, 1 on 3 half the game. It would be fun to see him with some talent!
ReplyDeleteThere are many reasons why all the top kids aren't there. Spring break, the time committment, costs etc. Happens every year. I'm actually surprised Hopkins has kids playing because usually they aren't in it. Ross Travis and Eric Robertson are 2 notables as well who won't be there.
ReplyDeleteHow about if the coach does not nominate any of his players? I was told that happens.
ReplyDeleteYep, that's also true.
ReplyDeleteMississippi 8 needs some love.
ReplyDeleteJoey Carpenter STMA top 5 dunker in the state. Scored 33pts in first section game.
Anthony Saavedra Monticello. Old School post player.
Carpenter is one of the top athletes in the class. I remember seeing him in 8th grade many moons ago. No surprise that he's developed into a nice player. Saavedra would have been a worthy choice as well.
ReplyDeleteHow about Kyle Noreen?
ReplyDeleteGoes without saying. He's another top kid who's not playing.
