Turn the clock forward a week as last week's postponed Roosevelt at Cooper game gets moved to tonight. With a very quiet schedule for the night, the change was welcomed. Had to love the $4 pizza meal deal with the deep dish pizza. Throw in some Ruffles and Sprite to go with it and its a bargain. A limited crowd for the game but we did have RCTC on hand to get some recruiting in.

Wiseman with a free throw, soph Elijah Hannah for 3 and a Wiseman putback with 2:30 left and the Teddies are only down 57-52 with plenty of time left. Cooper misses a layup but Roosevelt can't convert on their end with 2:04 left. Roosevelt doesn't score again. Cooper wins 65-52.
Post Game
Roosevelt with another close loss. They fall to 0-4 or 0-5 on the season (not known what happened in the Washburn game last night. Terrence Hicks with 16 points to lead the Teddies. Aaron Wiseman with 14. Not much there for coach Rob Mestas to work with. Sophs Elijah Hannah is 1 player they'll have for the future. Next up for the Teddies is a city tilt at Edison on Friday.
Cooper improves to 2-2 by winning 2 straight after the Hopkins tourney. Lanky forward Marques Gray off the bench with 14 points inside for the Hawks. Brandon Robinson also with 14.
