Czar, what are your thoughts on what you've saw so far at some of these other fall leagues? Any news on the Breakdown? Was at the Tonka League yesterday and was very impressed with some of the teams......Hopkins (still the most physically intimidating team, their kids are ripped, especially Singleton), Columbia Heights (even in defeat they were impressive, quite a few "new additions" that are super athletic), Osseo (they were getting up and down so fast with hightlight finishes, and Anderson has full control of the squad), BSM and Patrick Henry (both of these squads icorporated the new with the old so well, it was nice to see the excitement and the "deer in headlights" faces some of the newer guys showed.
ReplyDeleteDidn't see too much of the other teams there, Maple Grove was big, slow and physichal, Armstrong was Armstrong....that was about it for me, how about your thoughts Czar
I'll be putting together my weekly fall league piece for MN Preps tonight. That will go up tomorrow and you'll see most of my thoughts there.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see Hopkins play but your statement doesn't surprise me. Columbia Heights will be mentioned and a bunch of youngsters got time. I'll go into that as well.
I will say that I like the Breakdown's scheduling this year far better than last year.
