  1. Why not a preview of the Central Lakes Conference? It would be a good write-up with some top teams in the state with St. Cloud Tech, St. Cloud Apollo, and Little Falls. Also has some top players in the state with Filipek, Kornbaum, and Hanks. Just a thought.

  2. While I've been fortunate enough to see many of the stars of that league and I saw a couple of great games in St. Cloud last year, I don't know enough about the CLC to do a preview of it. My focus is the Twin Cities.

That said, here are some thoughts on the CLC.

Filipek is a stud so Willmar will be there. I'm trying to remember if Reeves will still be there or not. If he is, they are very dangerous. Nystrom is a great pickup for Tech. I raved about him all summer. Him and Hanks will be a handful for opponents. New coach there will add another dynamic. Apollo may be a year away with their loaded junior class. Krych is a great addition to that group. Kornbaum is the best big man in the league.

  4. Del, I don't disagree with that. Shelby Moats and Jordan Smith are very nice players in the league and Darius Clare is very athletic. That said, see the response above. I just don't get the chance to pay enough attention to the Wright County to do any kind of preview of it.

  6. HoopCzar,
How about the Mississippi 8? They are metro and it wasn't too long ago they gave the state a champion. Buffalo.

  7. BlueWhiteRed, it pains me to not do the Mississippi 8, Minnesota River or the Wright County since they're so close, but I don't get to any of their games on a regular basis so I can't really do a preview of it.

Gotta like the M8 though, Buffalo, STMA and Monty are all very good programs. Really looking forward to their series with the Central Lakes.
